ABA Services

At the Art in Me, we provide a variety of services to meet the needs of our clients and their families.  Services provided are dependent upon family need and developmental stage of each client. Services offered will change over time, as needs change.

Early Intervention

Early intervention services focus on the development of language and play based skills. Developmentally appropriate goals are targeted to improve child's skills.

Programs can be targeted in the clinic or home setting depending on the most appropriate setting for the child and their goals.

Hours provided are based on client's need and current availability.

Each client will have a team of therapists including RLTs and BCBAs. Our BCBAs provide regular direct services to our clients.

School Aged Children

Once kids start school, ABA services can be more complicated with busy schedules. Services can be scheduled during the school day or after school. Therapists can assist with transitions to school through collaboration to promote success in the school setting.

Complimentary services can be provided in the clinic/home setting to further expand skills in a 1:1 setting. While therapy remains 1:1, we do pair some clients together for music group, social group, or peer interactions.

BCBA Supervisors will participate in coordination of care with other providers including teachers assisting parents with school IEP meetings, if desired.

Adolescents

The Art in Me is experienced in providing services to adolescents. Treatment goals often look different as client's age.

Goals included could be:

  • Navigating through and understanding their own diagnosis

  • Managing changes that come with puberty

  • Teaching life and job skills for autonomous living

  • Expanding community opportunities and involvement

Parent Support and Skill Training

While parent involvement is a large part of all of the above categories of treatment, it is also available as the focus of treatment. This could take the form of community outings, 1:1 meetings, and/or in-home consultations.
